Description
Mandala of the Sacred Mother Spirit
Peace
You are child of the Earth, neither rooted nor buried
1. Acknowledge Yourself
Born of the Earth
Proud of Legacies
Feral in fiery in experience and expression
And now a path uncertain
Peace
2. Release Yourself
Climb the back of the living mountain
And let it take you to the journey of peace
Not seeking the sword’s passage of justice
But finding the wholeness of the world
Call to the waters to wash your confusion and pain
And dive into the depths of certainty
Call to the winds to lift your gaze
And spirit soars to truth
Look around for the sheltering womb . . .
Peace
3. Awaken
The womb you seek is now within you
Creating One
Past, present, and future are one
Mind, body and spirit are one
Animal, human and the divine are one
Peace
4. Return
From the mountain’s back
You return, no longer the child of the Earth
You are the spirit of the Earth Mother
Peace

Dear Medge, would you give us permission to publish your mandala art titled "Mandala of the Sacred Mother" in Storytelling Magazine (storynet.org/magazine)? I would include an artists' statement (yours) and your website or another link you prefer. Storytelling magazine is published for members of the National Storytelling Network (NSN) with a press run of 1600 copies. I would certainly send you copies and a pdf of the same if we can work this out.
Thanks for considering my request,
