hello. your works take my breath away. i read some of your correspondings and notices what you said about visions comming to you. now i must ask you more about this. i get so much information and visions as you call it, but when i try to put them on paper i usualy get very frustrated becuase it's so poor compared to the vision. do you know what i'm talking about? can you give me ae advice?
anyway, your gallery is a true inspiration. thank you so much.

Greetings my friend,

First I wish to extend my gratitude for you kind support towards my work. May blessings of peace and prosperity abound for you and your family this New Year

To answer your query, I first would like to share that I have several types of visions:

a. I see sacred sigils and geometries during my times of waking, sleep (dream) and in meditation

b. I have visions of deities in all three states

c. I have visions of scenes of past, present and future spiritual events also in a three states

In trying to capture these visions (whether they are clear or hazy), I admit I can never draw them as magnificently as the actual vision. Rather, I choose to draw the essence of what I see and share that with the people. The depth of the details of my visions are for me to keep (and at times take long periods of contemplation to fully comprehend, while others are shared in my talks (either in conversations or in my mandala meditation workshops)

Some visions are just to complex to draw, and others have taken me years and months to realize

So don't feel frustrated if you can draw them as you see them. First you have time on your side to explore these images(I assume you are still quite young) whereas I have 40 years of art making experience (and around 25 years working on visions) to draw from (with many of my early works leaving much to be desired. And with what I have seen so far with your gallery, you have already taken many great steps for your art (Great works!!!).

I used to make a journal (with rough sketches) of some of these visions, which allowed me to come back to it in a later time, and even full comprehend by the time I review it. Maybe this might help you.

Anyway, I hope this helps you in your endeavors

Salamat (thanks) at samuli (and until then),

Lakan

PS

May I know your full name? I have great respect for your works, but I have an unusual knack of only 'watching' people whom I know their full names. And I would like to 'watch' you and see what you have new to share. :)

Thanks again

Dear Lakan. thank you so much for your beautiful personal detailed answer. I took the time to fully understand each word (my english is o.k but I needed to translate some of it). so first things first. my name is Hadas. the meening of my name: it's a Hebrew name from the holly bible and it's one of the four plants pilgrims used to bring to the temple in jerusalem. I believe it's called Myrtle in english.
your words about time brought a smile to my lips. I'm not so young. I'll be 48 very soon but I only started to draw last july. I'm a musician, a choir conductres to be precise and a music teacher for very young children. the only thing I drew until today was the mountain you can see as the first deviation in my gallery (after my father died). I meditate for many years but it never befoure involved eny actual products. last july I met a wonderful spiritual teacher that opened the world of mandala meditation for me and since then I'm flooded with visions and the urge to draw and explore. your idea to sketche some of the visions I see is a wonderful and very useful idea which I'm going to try immediatly. I envy you for your long experience and the abbility to comprihend the information you recieve but on the other hand I know I'm just beggining.last night I met my step brother (i have a few:)) who is an art teacher and also teaches the history of art. besides that he is a master in eastern martial arts especially Tai Chi. he took a very long look at my works and pointed out a lot of simbols that I didn't see but he knew and recognized. he suggested I should learn more about tibetian mandalas and about the meaning and structure of their simbols. so this is it for now. thanks again for your respond and it is very nice to meet you. Hadas
