these two drawings are more precise, but they look lifeless, they represent just an ideea not a true fact....the other drawings with the metal gel pen were alive, had a spark of life and looking at them there was no doubt that the ideea it represented was true

Good observation. Well they are old studies (more than 10 yrs old), that I haven't gotten to make. They are also more technical than meditative. The mage was a study for some tarot cards. The shaman was just for egotistical kicks.

I always wear tinted glasses, but with a prescribed grade. :)

Then again, I used to be in the rock and roll business.

I hope to do the final work on this. The staff is based on an actual shaman's staff.

Obviously I was drooling over the piece. So I drew my own version of it :)
